    Request For Exterior Change Form

    Instructions: This form is to be used to request any building/structure change to the exterior of your home. The Board of Directors must approve any changes BEFORE work begins.  The Hurley Hill Board of Directors meet on the third Monday of each month.  Please be sure this form is received before the meeting date.  All home owners will receive a Contractor’s Policy & Procedure in which they must follow and review with their contractor.

    Proposed changes should follow the guidelines as outlined in your Association By-Laws:
    “No owner shall make any structural addition, alteration, or improvement in or to any building, Dwelling or Common Improvement, nor shall he/she paint or otherwise decorate or change the appearance of any portion of the exterior of any Dwelling, without prior written consent of the Board of Directors pursuant to the Declaration. Planting or landscaping of Home Owner’s Area in any individual style is exempt from such approval.”

    The City of Bristol requires building permits for certain types of improvements. It is the owner’s responsibility to obtain necessary permits and submit a copy to the Board. Failure to do so may result in fines and notification of the City of Bristol Building Department. Copies and permits must be submitted to the Board BEFORE work begins. Please note: The Board will not approved your request for changes – this form, unless the City of Bristol Permit is attached or evidence that a permit is not needed.

    PLEASE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BELOW: Describe your proposed change specifying color, size, and location.  Also, please estimate the anticipated timeframe needed to complete the work. 

    You will be notified via email if your request has been approved or not within 7 to 14 days.
